Boy...Mondays sure are tough. Especially after a great Sunday of golf, burgers, beer, and my very first Father's Day (my kid is growing healthy in the womb, so technically I am a father, I guess). So instead of diving right into work, I have found the perfect blog on which to procrastinate just a little bit longer. Congratulations to Brian Fitzpatrick over at Lair of the Green Knight (writer.fitzhome.com) for being the winner of this week's Weekly Buzz!!! Brian has 500 EntreCard credits coming his way!
The Lair of the Green Knight focuses on entertainment reviews - movies, television, music, books, and blogs/websites mostly - with occasional blips with wacky news, poetry, or other opinionated pieces. I like it because it is PURE entertainment. Since 90% of the things I read on the internet have to do with learning something, Brian's blog is a great place to go when I need a break. There I can get lost in honest opinions of movies, funny videos of bizarre news, or some great recommendations on new CDs or up and coming musicians. Brian just writes whatever he feels like, but it is always entertaining. Lair of the Green Knight is a great place to go when you want to spend a little time just having fun. As I said earlier, it is a great place to procrastinate.
I got a chuckled out of Brian's Acceptance Speech. Someday winning the Weekly Buzz might be as prestigious as winning an Oscar!
