FrugalZeitgeist.com is a pretty new blog but is already full of interesting content. Articles there touch on topics ranging from money saving tips and freebies to alternative health products, saving gas and articles discussing the impact on the environment. The site made a HUGE initial splash into the blogosphere by showing readers ways to get TONS of free stuff. This is definitely worth checking out folks! 

Just in case you were wondering what on earth Zeitgeist means, well the dictionary definition is:

"the spirit of the time".

I think you will agree the name is quite fitting. I have a strong feeling this site will grow into a big community in the coming months.

Sorry for the delay in announcing this week's Weekly Buzz winner. I just got back from a long weekend in Cape May, NJ. If you ever visit the north east U.S., I highly recommend this amazing beach resort town. Cape May is full of old Victorian bed and breakfasts, awesome restaurants, and great piano and jazz bars. It is not commercialized one bit and has the feel of 1920's upper class luxury.

Congratulations to TheCuso over at thecuso.info for being the winner of this week's Weekly Buzz!!! Definitely check this one out folks, its one of the coolest blogs I have ever seen. I will be sending TheCuso 500 EntreCard credits shortly.  

TheCuso.com is a blog that focuses on street magic, flourish and xtreme card manipulation (xcm). In case you are not familiar (which I wasn't), wikipedia defines flourish as a magic jargon term for a visual display of skill performed with playing cards to show the skill and manual dexterity of a magician. TheCuso puts his videos and tutorials on his blog for us to learn the best out of cardistry and xtreme card manipulation, gambling cheats and sleight of hand art. He offers tips on everything from poker to levitation. The videos are simply awesome! I'm not much into magic, but what these guys can do with a deck of cards is simply amazing.

Boy...Mondays sure are tough. Especially after a great Sunday of golf, burgers, beer, and my very first Father's Day (my kid is growing healthy in the womb, so technically I am a father, I guess). So instead of diving right into work, I have found the perfect blog on which to procrastinate just a little bit longer. The Lair of the Green Knight focuses on entertainment reviews - movies, television, music, books, and blogs/websites mostly - with occasional blips with wacky news, poetry, or other opinionated pieces. I like it because it is PURE entertainment. Since 90% of the things I read on the internet have to do with learning something, Brian's blog is a great place to go when I need a break. There I can get lost in honest opinions of movies, funny videos of bizarre news, or some great recommendations on new CDs or up and coming musicians. Brian just writes whatever he feels like, but it is always entertaining. Lair of the Green Knight is a great place to go when you want to spend a little time just having fun. As I said earlier, it is a great place to procrastinate.

I got a chuckled out of Brian's Acceptance Speech. Someday winning the Weekly Buzz might be as prestigious as winning an Oscar!

I posted a tweet this morning about how I was having a hard time finding a Weekly Buzz winner today. I was amazed at the number of people who have abandoned their blogs and given up so quickly. Robert amazes me. He has a very demanding professional career working for a trial law firm, he has a long commute to and from work (he should check out last week's winner Commuter Chronicles!), he is raising a family, he is working on side business projects AND he still manages to post on his blog almost every single day. His writing is informative and inspirational. Robert knows that he doesn't have to put up with the daily grind forever. A passive income and a four hour work week is attainable and his blog is a great start on that path. I just subscribed to his RSS feed and you should too.
